When Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery Limited invested in a new, purpose built, world class manufacturing facility at its Teal Park site in Lincoln, Quattro Contracting (Penrith) Limited were called upon to install more than 7,500 square metres of Resdev’s Pumadur RT, heavy duty polyurethane screed system. Applied at a thickness of 9 mm, the resin rich water-dispersed heavy duty polyurethane floor screed has a lightly textured surface and is the ideal for use in engineering environments with severe heavily loaded traffic and impact resistance.
Following the project through from specification, management and installation to after service customer care; Quattro Contracting worked closely with Resdev to ensure full product and application integrity. The system was laid through the whole of the building to a tight timeframe of 4 days and this involved a continued progress with minimal business disruption at Siemens’ request. This diligence and hard work allowed Siemens to begin working as each area was completed and that the factory could be up and running to full capacity at the earliest possibly opportunity.
Quattro Contracting were aware of the importance of keeping to a tight schedule but they were confident that with the reliability of Resdev’s Pumadur Polyurethane Flooring Systems and their own commitment to providing outstanding service, Siemens would be in a strong position to move forward when they were ready to do so.
